The Victorian Brain and Spine Centre (VBSC) provides a complete range of acute and elective Neurosurgical care. This is delivered through five Neurosurgeons all involved in the active day to day management of patients. Through a home base at St Vincent’s Hospital campus in Fitzroy Melbourne, an important aspect of our work is in providing Neurosurgical care for the entire state of Victoria. Regular country clinics are performed on a regional basis by each of our neurosurgeons.

Equally important in patient management is an active involvement in emerging research opportunities and this continues to be a key focus of the VBSC.

Sub specialisation by the VBSC allows all neurological conditions to be cared for with the highest level of available expertise. A strong collegiate atmosphere incorporates cross collaboration for the care of complex Neurosurgical issues.
